I can't believe it's February and I'm still on track for a photo a day! I am behind on blogging, but the photos were all taken - woot!

More in my 'about the house' photos, today I chose to photograph a painting Jama made for me a couple of years ago. I love how it is simple yet has layers of deep texture. I had this fantasy idea that she might paint me a series of them one day... maybe one day she will.

Jan 21 - Birthday Girl

My little sister turned 15 this month. I remember so well when she was born, and when she learned to walk, and when she used to love playing dress up, and would run into the room saying 'I got my kitty face on!' with a huge grin. She was beautiful then, and she is beautiful now.
