Jan 20 - Mmmmmmuffins

I had a total system crash this week, so had some more time than usual (waiting for programs to reinstall) to do fun domestic things like make muffins. These are gluten free, another mix. This one I find a bit dry, so I tried to make them better by adding chunks of chocolate and then flaking chocolate eon top. They were still dry, but a chocolatey kind of dry:

Knowing that we have a birthday to go to tomorrow, with a cake I can't eat, I got proactive and made myself one that I *can* eat. Any of you out there who need to eat gluten free - this is THE cake mix - so, so yummy:

Steve's sister came over for brunch, and we went all out and ate way to much, and it was good:
